Britta Wetteskind, R.N., Founder
Britta Wetteskind is a Registered Nurse. She founded European Wellness Cosmedical in 2010.
In 2000 Britta graduated from Saddleback College with an AS of Nursing, CA. While in Nursing school she acquired an interest in the newly emerging field of Medical Aesthetics.
Shortly after graduating, Britta became certified in Medical Aesthetics through the Esthetic Skin Institute.Britta started and ran an Aesthetic Practice for a Newport Beach based Dermatology office where I she became proficient in the art of Medical Aesthetics.
Britta was born and raised in the Black Forest area of Germany. Her father was a business executive who moved the family to South East Asia, Japan and France where she had a rich cultural upbringing. At the age of 15 Britta and her family moved to Manhattan, New York City. Britta attended the prestigious Convent of the Sacred Heart Prep school on the Upper East Side.
Around that time she was discovered by the famous Vogue photographer, Mike Reinhard, while skateboarding with her younger brothers. After a debut photo shoot in Morocco for Seventeen magazine she was recruited by Elite Models in New York City.
As a model she was featured in Glamour, Vogue, Redbook among other international fashion magazines. While attending the University of Paris she continued her modeling career, traveling across the globe.
Eventually she ended up back in NYC where she was recruited by Eileen Ford with Ford Models where she modeled and acted for a decade.
Since childhood, Britta had always expressed an interest in the medical field which was fueled by her late grandmother who had been one of the first female dentists in post- war Germany.
In 2010 she brought her long time dream to fruition and founded European Wellness Cosmedical, a full service Med Spa and Wellness Practice.
‘My dream has always been to serve by bringing my global knowledge of skin, beauty, nutrition, health and wellness into one holistic environment, while inspiring men and women to feel and look their optimal best.’
Britta loves the world of aesthetics and enjoys helping her patients look better than they would ever have imagined. During the last few years, Britta’s vision has evolved to branching out into wellness and weightloss.
“It is so humbling when I show my patients the mirror after a treatment and they start crying with tears of joy because they can’t believe that it was a possible for them to look this good. My approach to beauty always is, ‘less is more’.
Now in her mid fifties, Britta has embraced the benefit of being a ‘Biohacker’ and certified Nutrition Coach.
Biohacking is the process of making changes to your lifestyle in order to “hack” your body’s biology and feel your best. You know the saying, “You are what you eat”? That actually applies to humans in a broader sense: everything we put into our bodies — our foods, our thoughts, our physical movement — all affect how we behave. By biohacking yourself, you can actually transform your body so that you feel more energized, be more productive and, overall, feel like the best possible version of yourself.
She feels passionate about bringing her knowledge to middle aged men and women who are looking for more energy and vitality.
It’s primarily your daily lifestyle that defines your health and wellness.
In her free time, Britta enjoys personal and business development. As an entrepreneur, she is constantly looking for opportunities, tools and products to bring more value to her clients. She resides in Newport Coast with her husband and two toy poodles.
